Street Image has attended the Come & Take It car show for 5 years now, but this was the first time that we have ever attended the parade portion. We had a lot of fun with the parade and plan to continue attending the parade as well as the car show.

Saturday morning we all got set and polished up the cars and trucks that we had entering the parade. There were blocks and blocks lined up with floats, motorcycles, horses, school bands, and cars all waiting to roll out and impress all the spectators awaiting to see them all. It was a great parade as it's route was winding around the downtown area.      

On Sunday was the car show. We all met up in Gonzales at the car wash to wash up the rides after the long drive over there. We entered the show and polished everything up then it was off to see all the other cars and trucks. There were a lot of older cars and trucks there. Classics were lined up and down the block. Motorcycles were entered as well as modern style cars and trucks. It is a good show to go to for those who are wondering about it. There is a lot of things to to to pass the time at this show, like our favorite thing to do is walk down the cook off street and eat the free samples of all the great BBQ!!! Ricky placed 1st in open show and Gabriel walked away with 2nd in open show. Great job guys! Get ready for next year!
